They already knew a lot about each other from corresponding, so they did not ask the usual basic questions about family, work, etc. Even though Larisa seemed nervous she blushed when Henry looked at her and her eyes were shining. Henry invited her to dance. It was a pleasure to look at such a couple in harmony. He invited her for dinner and I continued to interpret for them. Henry decided not to go to the next day's Russia ladies social and instead spend the whole day with Larisa (usually a big mistake). We walked together around the center of Moscow visiting all of the historical sites. In the evening together we went to the Bolshoi Ballet.

Occasionally tension appeared and I could not understand what was going on. Larisa had no children and asked Henry about children. This question seemed stressful for him. Also it seemed strange that he would not give the ages of his sons, making jokes instead of answering Larisa's question.
I noticed puzzlement on Larisa's face. She started to watch Henry carefully. I wondered why Henry behaved in such a way. He became more and more nervous and only the incredibly beautiful "Jizal" ballet relaxed their communication. It seemed like he was trying to conceal something. The next day they decided to skip the last Russian ladies social. Larisa seemed to make progress in spoken English and they decided to do without my services.
