"Could you please introduce me to that lady?" my client asked at last! It took me a few moments to collect myself. "And what do you do for work?" was one of his first questions. "I work as an accountant in a small company", the lady replied, "but … my hobby is painting and whenever I have free time I paint on wood, Russian trays etc." That was the moment when my heart started beating very fast. This is just too unbelievable! Most Russian ladies stories move much sooner. "Look, I live in a very beautiful place. Lots of greenery. A creek with ducks just in front of my house. You are going to like it" The man said.
We again met with Julia in the evening for dinner. He asked her many questions. "Why did you color your hair? In your pictures you had a different color." He was becoming tired and irritated.

Later the lady told me that about one year earlier she had visited a fortune-teller about finding a partner. "I see a gray-haired man behind you," the old lady told her. "I see you living in a place of extreme natural beauty. It is a long way from here, maybe in another country. I can also see a large room. Lots of foreign men and Russian women ladies. They are moving back and forward, like a Russian matchmaking party. I see you and this gray-haired man. But wait…I see one blond lady following you everywhere standing near both of you all the time." Probably that blond lady was me - the interpreter ;-) .
